Abhishek is a government affairs and infrastructure professional with over a decade of experience in the power and transmission sector, specializing in regulatory engagement, grid infrastructure development and institutional coordination within structured governance environments.
He previously served as Director at Mahalakshmi Infra Power Pvt. Ltd. (2015–2020), where he played a central role in government affairs, regulatory clearances, and inter-departmental coordination for power sector projects, particularly in Transmission and Distribution (T&D). His work focused on grid-strengthening initiatives, including the installation of transmission lines and transformers, and the execution of turnkey substation projects up to 132 kV across India. Through the company’s in-house capabilities - spanning design, manufacture, supply and construction - he contributed to the development of substations, erection of lines up to 132 kV and implementation of tailored IT solutions for power utilities.
From 2020 to 2025, as Director at Saturn Infratech Pvt. Ltd., he continued to oversee infrastructure execution and statutory compliance, with sustained engagement across state and central power authorities. His expertise reflects a strong command over grid infrastructure development, regulatory interface management and the operationalisation of power sector projects within structured governance frameworks.
His professional expertise spans government interface management, regulatory navigation, infrastructure and energy sector execution and institutional coordination within public - private frameworks.
As Deputy Executive Director of the Emissions Trading Association of India (ETAI), Abhishek leads execution strategy and governmental engagement initiatives, contributing to the institutional development of India’s carbon market architecture. He plays a pivotal role in bridging policy frameworks with on-ground implementation, ensuring that regulatory design translates effectively into operational carbon market mechanisms.
